Yesterday I realised that lately, I've spent my weekends doing nothing but grocery shopping, cleaning and doing dishes, and Thursday I also did a big pile of laundry (too much clothes in wardrobe will do that to you, since you don't have to do laundry every week to have clean clothes to wear, but I got fed up), so walking past the kitchen yesterday I said "screw that, tomorrow I'll do something enjoyable" and so I did. By myself, sadly - Girlfriend is involved with the university's student theatre group sewing costumes and they are working hard up until the premiere next Saturday, but we were at least able to meet up and eat sushi.
On my own then, I visited some of the thrift shops in town, that's my kind of day, but I think I got a bit carried away with the spirit of enjoying myself.
Mostly with the pattern-buy though, it's not actually my size, and of course the person who had it before me cut the pieces out, but I couldn't help my self. I was blinded, if you will, by the fact it's from the 1940's. I almost also bought one from the 1950's - even though I don't like that fashion anymore/right now. But I don't regret buying this one, even if it might've been a bit ill-considered. Oh well, it was only 40 kronor (Swedish krona) that just means there will be two cups of coffee (including cinnamon buns) less this month - I've got into the habit of buying that in every break during lecture - good thing I don't have that many lectures a week.
In the spirit of the fine tradition of Lördagsgodis (only eating candy on Saturdays) I bought myself a treat for tonight, since Girlfriend will be away until late. I hope it will taste good, this one in particular I haven't tried before.
